Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Summer Makers Workshop. Through the course of the week long evening workshop we will be learning the process of finishing a violin and viola. Participants will start with a rough violin or viola in the white and finish with their own fully playable instrument. We will go over the process of tuning the wood, prepping the wood, varnishing the wood, bridge and soundpost carving/fitting, and instrument set-up (strings are not include, but will be available at a discounted workshop price). You are welcome to bring your own tools if you desire, but all tools will be provided by the shop. Space is limited to 8 participants and a non-refundable down payment of $350 is due after sign-up to guarantee your spot. This down payment will go towards the total of the workshop which is $700 for a violin sign-up and $800 for a viola sign-up. Student and Teacher discounts are available, please contact the shop so we can add the discount to your total.
